Bossa is coming to the West Island. The Montreal sandwich shop is opening a new location at BLVD Sources Powerhouses in Dollard-des-Ormeaux, at 3343-M Boulevard des Sources, with the opening scheduled for October 2026. Construction is underway, and Bossa is already hiring for the new location.
I find this one interesting because Bossa isn’t exactly sitting still. The brand has grown from its Wellington Street location into four existing spots, including Rosemont, the Eaton Centre and DIX30. It has also become more than just a place to grab a sandwich, with fresh pasta, imported groceries, catering and prepared foods becoming part of the Bossa identity. Now the West Island gets its own Bossa, and that is a pretty good sign that the concept has found an audience.
And apparently, the West Island has been asking for it. Bossa co-founder Daniel Lo Manto told Chili Chili that the restaurant was receiving as many as 10 to 15 direct messages a day from people asking for a West Island location. Well, somebody was listening. For West Islanders who have been making the trip into Montreal for their Bossa fix, that trip is about to get a whole lot shorter. I think Sources Boulevard is going to be an interesting place to watch as more food businesses discover the area.
