Madame Poulet: New local restaurant comes to Pointe-Claire

Have you heard the news? Madame Poulet (madamepoulet.com) has just opened a brand new location in Pointe-Claire! I recently had the pleasure of visiting the restaurant and was delighted by the experience. Madame Poulet specializes in authentic chicken-based meals, particularly chicken sandwiches. I was recently invited to try Madame Poulet, which is a great alternative for those who live in Quebec since there are no Chick-fil-A restaurants in Quebec. Having frequented Chick-fil-A during my many business trips to the USA, I can confidently say that Madame Poulet’s chicken sandwiches are far superior.

It’s important to note that some hamburger restaurants offer chicken sandwiches as an alternative for those who don’t eat beef. However, these chicken options often take a backseat to their beef counterparts. Madame Poulet, on the other hand, takes great care in crafting their chicken sandwiches. As a sandwich lover, I’m often frustrated by skimpy chicken portions, but Madame Poulet’s sandwich will not disappoint with its hearty and satisfying chicken fillet.

Madame Poulet has made a grand entrance into the food industry, opening three restaurants in just two years. Their accomplishments can be attributed to the high standards of their menu, which bodes well for future growth opportunities through franchising.

The restaurant itself is incredibly spacious, with a lovely patio dining area at the front. As I walked in, I noticed touchscreen kiosks, which were a pleasant surprise. This place has a gorgeous and tidy atmosphere, accompanied by cordial employees and a warm interior layout. The decorations are truly exceptional, particularly for a locally-owned establishment. I strongly suggest visiting Madame Poulet with your loved ones for an exceptional dining experience.

Let’s talk about the food. To start, we have the classic signature sandwiches. You have the option of either grilled or breaded chicken. From there, you can choose from seven different types of sandwiches: the MP Classic, MPBLT, MP Chou, Burger Gauffre, Piri Piri, Buffalo, and the Louisiane BBQ. I personally tried the Piri Piri sandwich, which was absolutely delicious. It came with succulent breaded chicken, drenched in Piri Piri sauce, pickles, coleslaw, and a unique house sauce. I’ve had Piri Piri sandwiches from many restaurants, but this sandwich exceeded my expectations. I paired it with waffle fry poutine, which was also fantastic. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and would highly recommend the Piri Piri sandwich – it’s the best I’ve had in a while!

I was tempted to try the waffle burger – a juicy and delicious sandwich featuring crispy or grilled chicken on a homemade waffle. Topped with pickles, coleslaw, cheddar cheese, bacon, and drizzled with maple syrup and honey, it’s definitely my go-to order for my next visit.

My wife is quite the connoisseur when it comes to these types of sandwiches, she has savored them from most prominent restaurants. My wife chose the grilled chicken Julius Caesar wrap, which was wrapped with a delicious serving of romaine salad, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan, bacon, and the restaurant’s signature sauce. To accompany the wrap, my wife ordered waffle fries, which were a unique and tasty option not commonly seen in other restaurants. Overall, she was extremely satisfied with her meal, even though it was a tough decision between the chicken tacos – either Tacos Pollo or Tacos Tinga.

If sandwiches aren’t your thing, you have the option to order a crispy-coated chicken fillet. It’s crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and comes with four different dipping sauces to pick from that complement it perfectly!

When it comes to restaurant menus, chicken nuggets are often offered as an alternative option. But what other choices does a chicken restaurant have? At Madame Poulet, they cater to picky eaters by serving classic mac and cheese. For a twist, they’ve added chicken to the dish for a unique flavor. In addition, they offer chicken wings and popcorn shrimp. For those who don’t like waffle fries, onion rings are also available.
