When it comes to healthy daily meals, it is pretty hard to find the time to make them at home. There are so many options out there. The unique concept of ready-to-eat meals was created by Joseph Mantagaris and his wife Kelly. They want to share their love of food with all their customers.
Joseph Mantagaris is a globe-trotting chef who has garnished many years of experience in many countries. At the age of sixteen, he started as a cook’s helper and has not looked back. He has cooked for celebrities. His wealth of cooking knowledge from every continent brought him back home to create a few restaurants in Montreal. His passion now is with Beurre and Baguette. Your mouth will discover the plates he created from his travels. The ever-changing online menu has something for everybody. You will find standards such as pizzas, kid corner meals for picky eaters, pasta meals, a variety of sushi, poke bowls and a wealth of salads. The menu keeps changing each day.

Sure, other businesses offer the same type of service. However, Beurre et Baguette stands above the pact with a wide variety of dishes to please any taste. It sure beats the make-it-yourself-in-a-box offerings out there. It’s like having your very own personal fancy restaurant just a delivery away. It feels like you have a speedy high-end delectable restaurant just a click away. Very handy for families with busy lifestyles. Not only are they great-tasting meals, but there are also delightful desserts. The easy ordering online interface is very easy to use.
You get your meal and heat it easily. Pop it in the oven for an average of 10-12 minutes or microwave it for 2-4 minutes. It’s a restaurant in a box ready to go. It’s that simple. This is not fast food, it’s many years of gastronomic experience delivered to your home.

I had the Fajita Steak Sandwich. It consisted of pulled beef with Mexican seasoning, sauteed peppers, Monterey Jack cheese, Caramelized onions and chipotle mayo on a flatbread sandwich bun. Served with a salad. The sandwich just melted in my mouth. This sandwich was of high-restaurant quality. I wanted a little something with meat. I really enjoyed my sandwich. Very hearty and filling. My salad with just to die for. I am not a salad guy, but this salad was out of this world.

My daughter went with a flavourful Osso Bucco meal with seasonal vegetables and delicious polenta. The dish is a traditional Italian dish that consists of the shank (forearm) of the animal and includes a marrow bone at its center. The center of each bone, the marrow, is prized by those who love it and scoped with a spoon. She said the meat was succulent, and the polenta was smooth and savoury. Together this pairing was sublime. Amazing how much flavour could be in this convenient meal, ready in only a few minutes. She couldn’t resist the temptation to enjoy a scrumptious nata to finish off her spectacular meal.

My wife had the Greek chicken marinated and grilled Greek-style chicken breast served with lemon and oregano roasted potatoes, grilled vegetables, tzatziki sauce, feta cheese, olive and tomato garnish, classic tzatziki sauce and a mini pita served on the side. It was pleasing to the palate and to the psyche. She felt it was a healthy choice. A great alternative to buying fast food.
Between the three of us, we all shared the organic beet and goat’s cheese bowl salad which included organic beets with mixed vegetables served over a mix of baby greens with cherry tomatoes, goat’s cheese and triple nut muesli and balsamic dressing.
