The Bâton Rouge Grillhouse and Bar at the Complexe Desjardins has long been one of my favorite venues of the venerable chain, especially before seeing a show at the Place des Arts or while in the area for business.

Just over 50 years ago, Pierre Lévêque became the owner of La Lucarne, a small steak house on Laurier Avenue, already elegantly adorned with warm, inviting storefronts.
